The Welcome Centre Greifswald is kindly supported by the following foundations:

- Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft

The University of Greifswald has been awarded with €125.000,- for the years 2009/2010 in the competition “Welcome Centres for internationally mobile researchers”. This amount enables the University to establish a Welcome Centre that takes care of the special needs of internationally mobile researchers when preparing and doing a research stay in Greifswald.

The foundations reward the concept that has been developed together with the four other research instiutes situated in Greifswald, in which all international mobile researches get information on their research stay in Greifswald and get the chance to get connected among each other.
